Panda Home Care is seeking caring and compassionate caregivers to become part of our growing team, helping to enrich the lives of aging adults throughout the Connecticut region. Panda Home Care provides various non-medical services, allowing seniors to remain in their homes and meet the challenges of aging with pride, care and compassion.

• COMPANION: Duties for companions could include supervision/Monitor of Activities, Reminder for Self-Administered Medication, assist with Phone calls/communication, Reading, Socialization, Escort to Recreational Activity, accompany to Appointments (Medical/Business) and Accompany to Walks.
• HOMEMAKER: Duties for homemakers could include Vacuuming/Sweep Floors, Dusting, Wet mop Floors, Care of Bathroom, Making Beds, Changing Linens, Laundry, Clean Kitchen, Wash Dishes, Meal Planning & Preparation, Clean Refrigerator, Grocery Shopping and Empty Trash.
• PCA / CNA (DSS only): Duties for PCA / CNA could include assisting the elderly with everyday activities such as personal care (bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting), household chores as mentioned under Companion and Homemaker

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with distinction and respect
• Willingness to speak with clients in a welcoming and pleasant way
• Previous experience preferred but not required for companion and homemaking
• Anyone applying for a PCA (DSS only) job will have to take the State mandated PCA test in the office
• Must have a Valid Connecticut Driver's License, Car and Proof of Car Insurance for most clients
• Complete a state required background check, then monthly background checks are run as long as you are employed
• Complete a drug screening test if requested
• Provide 3 references not related or living in the same household
